He is Eric De Guia or better known as Kidlat Tahimik. 


He is an actor, writer, director, producer. But most would consider him as a Shaman as he strategically place culture and homeland in his works. His first film was the Mababangong Bangungot (see video below) and his second was Turumba.


Both showed the history and politics of the Philippines during the ages of its colonization. Through the humor of his fables in the films, he reacts against American domination. He is an inspiration for budding film makers today.

    I hope a lot of Filipinos will be able to read this and value what our history has done to shape us as a nation. So that we will be able to fill the errors or misgivings of our past & hopefully curve a better future... God bless.
