Do you want to be called SMART? Everyone does, of course. It is anyone's ticket to the higher ups of the social status. But not everyone is authentically smart enough, so to speak. Some act as if they are witty but end up getting caught bluffing about what they have to say.

It does not really take high scores in Calculus to be tagged as one of the SMART kids. Nor does it take beating the globe network, if you know what I mean. My way of checking if I was smart was to know a couple of general information. Answers to these questions

Where does the sun set? (1, 2, 3, 4, 5....eeeenk)

Where's north south east west? (1, 2, 3, 4, 5....eeeenk)

How do you know if a Polo shirt is for men or women?(1, 2, 3, 4, 5....eeeenk)

These are the questions that leave us blindsided and caught off guard making us reveal stupidity. But we have the answers to those mind boggling questions already. Grab a pen or charge your brain because you might need to memorize these information.

 1. Remember the time when you took your college algebra class and you discussed the GREATER THAN and LESS THAN subject and you often ask yourself  how to distinguish where the greater than or less than faces are? Well, the answer to that is this simple.

Think of PACMAN.The Manny Pacquiao boxer "our hero" who murdered the face of Antonio Margarito during his latest fight where he collected a total of eight world boxing titles. In Bisaya, Pacquiao means "forcibly/luckily collecting things" which actually fits the capacities of our Champion. So think of PACMAN, the computer game,  or Manny Pacquiao, collecting all of the unnecessary bricks and coins or whatever greater value there is against.  This is how you can never get confused of the GREATER than and LESS than symbols.

Repeat after me:
"PACMAN ALWAYS eats the X." "PACMAN ALWAYS eats the X."

2. Where does the Sun set?
It is confusing even to a smarty ass kid like I was.  Where does the sun set anyway? When I took my college degree I tried hard to remember where that big collection of fire really sets. It was the DEFAULT knowledge any college student taking architecture, engineering and the likes have to know.

FYI: The sun sets in the WEST? To be precise the sun's path is in this pattern (Watch the video). If you are in a building, it's like this.

How to make Presentation (for technical (engineers, architects, etc) professionals only): Make and Insert an image of your floor plan showing your sun path on your Presentation Slide.
Insert a circle shape on top of the sun.Move this circle using Motion Path Animation.

 3. How do you know where North South East West are?

If you're not sure where exactly North , South , West and  East is, here's an easy way to figure it out. North is always first followed by South at the bottom then West at your left, East at your right. or you can just use this hint. (the one you always use to memorize for enumerations test).
NobodyStopsWhenEating or

........ NadiaSays"WhateverEarl"!
WOMEN : Right over Left
MEN: Left over Right
4. Here's a Million Dollar question. How do you know if a POLO shirt is men or women's?  (1,2,3,4,5 eeenk)

Ans: The Buttons are the KING!

Here's a tip. Try holding your POLO shirt and look at the BUTTONS. If your putting on the buttons left over right, it's a MEN's polo. If your putting on the buttons right over left, it's for WOMEN.
5. Just a correction. Similar to how we mistake toothpaste as COLGATE, POLO is actually just referred for a COLLARED shirt when, in fact, it is just one of the famous brands of that type of clothing.

6. Water's boiling point is 100* C not 0* C . It is composed of two elements (hydrogen and Oxygen) that's why it is H2O. .

By the way, Tiger Wood is not black, he's actually “Cablinasian”, he made that word to refer to his Caucasian, Black, American Indian and Asian ethnicity.

This is great! So funny!... Why don't you add this to your list: The shortest bridge is the "nose bridge"; that a person who tells a lie is a "liar" not a lier, which is often misspelled; That most prefer to write "OK" in their text message because a lot don't know which is correct, "okay" or "okey"... well it's OKAY! Hehehehe.

haha nice post it's so funny..
    looking for more...
@glorybee yeah right about that I am guilty as charge with the okay thing hahaha...
prob is that some books used okey and some books used okay "novel most of the time used okey.. So I guess they are both acceptable.. though of course in English dictionary they prefer to define the word okay rather than the word okey..

@ellah Sun thanks for the comment. Language is dynamic. It also evolve. Best seller novels are the worst source of good English. It's better to read the Readers Digest. The English language is really interesting. Like, how could one word teach us a lesson in life... BELIEVE... there you can find, LIE & EVIL. In human anatomy, try this. compare the size of your foot to the length of your wrist to your elbow (wrist bone to your elbow joint). It's the same unless you are an exception. And what is the most important cage in the world? The ribcage because it protects the lungs and the heart. The list is endless... That is why no one can stand up on stage and shout at the top of his lungs that he is SMART!

  8. didn't know about the polo shirt thing til this post. that's great to know, gandang trivia/ conversation starter. coz people wanna talk abut polo shirts. polo shirts always ALWAYS make girls and boys look better. :P

  9. @bitchyvarsity: polo shirt do make everyone look SMART at least. matched with chucks, any guy could look like a rockstar, don'tyou think? :D
