Christmas is the most important season around the world. During this holiday, we expect to have time with our families and friends. It is also the time when we buy presents for our loved ones. And we expect to hand these gifts to them personally.

But that physical appearance is impossible to make for a many of us. Some of us have to work during Christmas. We are left to imagine our kids saddened and wishing Santa for us which is more than what the big-old-man-in-red could give.

Thanks to technology, we can now give greetings from computer to computer. We can easily search for an online greeting card in a snap. The graphic card can be customized packed with animations. Here is one of the cards I prepared.

What you need:
1. Powerpoint software
2. The best picture of your love ones

Step 1: Open the powerpoint software. On the upper right you can see the word DESIGN. Click it and you can see different themes. Choose a theme by clicking on one of the choices.

Step 2: Inserting a picture
After choosing your theme, you can now insert a picture. You can do this by clicking on the word INSERT and then clicking the icon PICTURE located lower to the word Home. A slide will appear which makes you choose which picture you want. You can browse on several areas so that you can find the right picture.

Step 3: Animating the picture
It would be nicer if you could add drama to your picture right? In order to do this, all you have to do is click the word ANIMATIONS on the upper pane and click CUSTOM ANIMATIONS. You can now see the animations panel on the right side. Click ADD EFFECTS to add an animation.

As for this case, we are going to use the FADE IN animation.

Step 4: Putting the Greeting
For this greeting, we use the cloud to show that the two boys are saying Merry Christmas.  To do this, click on the word INSERT again. You will see the word SHAPES. Click on the cloud shape. After this, click on the word TEXT BOX to put the word “Merry Christmas!!”

Step 5: Putting Animation to the Greeting
To put an animation to the Greeting, click on the Greeting first and then click ADD EFFECTS. Choose the “descend” animation.

Step 6: Save and Send
After deciding the finish product, save your work by clicking SAVE AS + OTHER FORMATS. Use the Powerpoint Show with an extension (.ppsx).

Send the Powerpoint Show file via email or Uploading it to your favorite social network group and it will play as soon as it’s clicked or open.

Hope you had fun!
